I'm a software developer intern for the Research Division Services at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where I've had the opportunity to provide solutions for real clients while honing my skills in both technology and communication with stakeholders.

  • 2023

    Alzheimer's Disease Research Center Database

    Supported database migrations from Microsoft AccessDB to PostgreSQL using pgadmin. Created queries and API routes to handle patient data.

  • 2024

    NeuroRes Mobile Application

    Worked with websockets to enable real-time communication between UCSD neurology residents. Updated and improved UI features on Android and iOS platforms for journal searching and pdf viewing. Performed E2E & integration testing to maintain code quality in our CI pipeline. Worked closely with my dev lead to set up a Linux VM for a developer sandbox environment.

  • 2025

    Institute for Genomic Medicine Website

    Set up a Postgres schema to transfer user profiles and genome sequencing data from MySQL. Created a containerized golang backend system with OIDC login flows that integrate with Globus Auth API. Set up custom session management and middleware to protect endpoints and routes across different browsers. Maintaining our Gitlab wiki with API documentation, developer workflows, and best practices.
